It's all in the details
At Orchard Hill we love so many little details, from sparkling water drops on a leaf to an old doorknob, to intricate stitching on a quilt.  Often, details catch my eye, and I just have to stop and capture the moment.

Rustic OH pottery, old books, and a salvaged window from India are details that we love.
We love pretty dishes, mostly inherited; some collected.
A local blacksmith forged our hooks, rods, and drawer pulls.
Old wool quilt pieced by my grandmother.
A peschiera...Italian copper fish cooker.
Lovely serving pieces found in France..

Details of a quilt I purchased in India..  So many stitches!
Little ceramic OH hearts.
Various shells picked up on our travels make lovely accents on our rustic benches, around the pond, and even in our OH bowls.
Old furniture finds, reclaimed doorknobs, bits from India, and my father's pruners are all little things we love.
Every evening I write in my journal, that rests on an old ironing board in my bedroom.
English roses and spring bulbs forced in our greenhouse.
